  • Compass RM6 Chip ID

I blew up my RM6 by accidently adjusting the Osc trimmer instead of the Null trimmer (trimmer broke-loud blip and now basicaly dead)

I replaced a few components but no luck. Anybody know what the 2 chips labeled "0-001" is? The manufacturer symbol looks like "NS" but I can't find the symbol or ID anywhere.

I repaired TV's for 10 years and figured it would be fun to work on this thing. I really need a schematic but understand that even tho Compass don't manufacture MD's anymore, they haven't released the Schemes to public domain.

    Thanks for any help

Probably will have to reverse-engineer your own schematic. Keith Wills could probably fix it and there is another guy who repairs Compass.
