Chinese MD-3010II - Garrett ACE-250 clone?

I found www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8Dk9eugZ3Q, and as well as the clip on phase shift, there is a clip of Lander XD100Pro Metal Detector by Evergreen Detectors. This is exactly the same as my detector,(I found a small label actually saying it is a Lander XD 100 Pro) although sold also as GC3010-II, but as you can see the response is much, much faster. On mine you would walk past the point and have to keep coming back to find where the blip originated. Mine definitely has something wrong with it after seeing this clip!

The Lander XD100 clip still seems to show a slight delay in the response, but nowhere near as long as you're experiencing. Hope you can get a replacement. Let us know how it goes.

They have the hardware about 80% correct. Just not too good at the electronics at the moment. Designers probably never been detecting. But they are good at electronics, and will get things sorted soon. They can make this sort of thing for virtually nothing. just a few dollars. Like everything else.
