I have one of these collectables in rather a poor state. I would like to restore it to a working condition. Does anyone have a circuit diagram for this or field test w.h.y.
That's a great old detector. Too bad it is in need of repairs. Do you have the spare loops? Is it a hipmount or the standard model. Sorry, can't help you with the skematic though.
Thanks for the input Jungle Jim. I now know that it is worth repairing anyway.
In answer to your questions :-
It is a standard model although someone has added a 1mA meter to the case (not very nicely unfortunately)with some other additional circuitry I beleive could be the meter drive. haven't reversed engineered it yet to see whats going on - hence the request for a schematic.
And sorry haven't got spare coil.
