For 12 Dlls i bought this one in a store...how the Chinese make this price !!! ...mysteries
Sensitivity is good for this 4 inch coil diameter ...a 3/4 small gold ring at 4 inch detected well... and you have the possibility to adjust for outside the trimmer (a small hole)

Assemble with 10 screws you can see the hole assembling in the photos , i will check the Vlf frequency to morrow...

They don't seem to be able to convert between metric and imperial.
5cm = 1.97", and 7.62c, = 3".
I guess 3" for a US quarter is the correct one.

My suspicion is that it's an off-resonance detector.
