From reading the add for the Compass Depth Doubler, it seems to be a DC power supply that charges the earth and allegedly makes the presence of metal easier to detect. I realize Garrett no longer sells there 4 probe units, but the fact that they did make them at one time tells me there must of been something to this technique. Any answers/Patent numbers I could check out?

I am an 83 year old . I have a compass depth doubler. If your detector will sound off on a target at 10 inches the doubler will give you just as good a signal at18 to 20 inches. I can't get out and use it any more. They work very good. You interested send E-Mail to
