Many many years ago in ETI mag i remember a simple small hand held detector. What i am looking for is a small hand held detector suitable for my grandchildren to use only need 50-100mm depth max, quiet(they dig everything) with pcb, battery and speaker all in a simple dish shaped case any ideas or circuits please. Intended using surf PIs but keeping these for myself children dont like waving coils and stems around but are most happy on hands and knees thanks if this is wrong forum please move
