  • Here's a new good test from Germany done by trustworthy persons
    and under realistic conditions.

Of course the Blisstool with the not small 28cm coil is only average to
detect the little golden pendant (left side) but it has very good or even
the best depths with a 50mm round from WW2 and the 50g brass weight.

The setting was Disc 5, Threshold 6 but this is just around 50% of full power.

    • Thank you Funfinder, interesting tests.

Regarding gold test, I wish to see test with genuine gold nugget of about 1 gram (say 0.6gram to 1.4gram).

Gold Anhanger (pendant) ist not the same as natural nugget, it can be difference in depth 1:7 between those two at the same weight and alloy, cause of shape.

      • nothing to thank, WM6, it's OK, it's just additional and useful information.

For 1 gram goldnuggets the Blisstools coil is simply too large.
But it should be possible to attach smaller coils, too.
But those are not available at the moment.

Perhaps I will try to attach my 45cm Detech Excelerator to it.

The new Garrett AT Gold comes with 18kHz and 12.5cm x 20cm (5x8'')
DD PROformance coil as example - even that coil could be much too big.

I could pinpoint very tiny and oxidized roman coin best with my "handheld Ace 250" and 10cm sniper coil.

        http://www.geotech1.com/forums/showt...820#post153820
(Above) the 3mm iron nugget info - without high voltage line depth would have been alot better.
The video with my little stuff Blisstool airtest should be earlier somewhere in this thread - but there
was also alot electro-smog around. The new test-chart above shows the Blisstool performs well
or better in heavy mineralization compared with other detectors.

The "röm. follis" (little roman folli copper coin) above is the best item to compare with a gold nugget.
The "Ma Denar" (medieval Denar) is even smaller but I don't know the metal, perhaps it's silver.

btw. I see the Garrett GTI 1500 with standard coil (28cm, too) has almost the same little stuff depth
as the Blisstool as long as it is medium mineralized soil, not in high mineralized soil. Another proof
the Garrett will do a good job in gold prospecting as long as it uses a small enough coil and
without electrosmog and hot ground! I have this standard coil too, but never used it so far.

And the new Garrett Euro Ace for 300 Euro with 28cm DD coil also will detect very small things -
under good site conditions - I found allready some piece of thin wire 1cm lenght at 5cm depth.

        • The tests I see used were with the LTC48x not the LTC 64 v3. The new LTC 64 v3 Blisstool is far superior to the LTC48 which is no longer in production. Here is a UK gold test using the LTC64 v3 and the associated commentary:

            .
I tested Garrett AT Gold at my testing plant (equivalent to very high mineralised soil) on genuine 1.1gram nugget.

            Settings: GND BAL=68, Treshold=+1, Sensitivity=max

Using standard DD coil 1.1gram nugget has been detected at :
            in ALL METAL = 9cm
            in DISCR 1 = 9cm
            in DISCR 2 = 6cm of depth.

For comparison: 15mm (in diameter) gold pendant of the same 1.1gram weight can be detected at
            in ALL METAL = 20cm
            in DISCR 1 = 19cm
            in DISCR 2 = 15cm of depth.

            • The big advance of the Blisstool is the possibility to create a huge contrast factor near the ground
elimination level where also the low conductive nature gold is (as long as it's not a gold-silver electrum mixture)
That's why it performs so good in high mineralized soil, too, compared with "fixed" detectors.

For a 28cm coil the 1gram gold tests are absolutly astonishing - the LTC 64 v3 is really a big improvement.

Of course for the much smaller Garrett AT Gold PROformance coil such 15mm gold pendant
looks much bigger than for an almost 30cm coil and we must not forget that a smaller coil is
much more safe from interferences of all kind. As example the 10cm Garret sniper coil creates
no e-smog beeps at all, at full sens and very close to strong erratic-noise-sources. Nothing.

This is important to understand that smaller coils are much more stable and therefore sensitive
to detect even very tiny stuff compared with larger coils. Static circuits also remain almost
completly stable and without noise compared to all those motion-circuits, but the later are
more sensitive and easy to handle at sites with bushes, grass, stones and other stuff.

If the test was made inside of that big plant-pot I'm not shure if those mineralized stone stuff
there is realistic enough. Ground usually is much tighter and includes some level of moisture.
Guess the granules are made from clay so it may work as medium mineralized soil substitute
because of all the air inbetween.

Back to the special Blisstool contrast:
It really depends on the grounds mineralisation, but if the GEB level is set to 20% below
the usual value for medium mineralized ground (set ground rudely @ 6.5) you may start to
detect already very rusty little iron pieces if no disc is used but the big advance is that
gold nuggets will get detected by a much better signal because the Blisstool (like the
Jeohunter, too, sorry WM6) has the possibility to set the ground balance level to such
              a low level.

All those detectors with fixed ground balance contain the
danger that the GEB will blur or weaken small gold because this metal and especially
if it is that tiny is extremly close to the GEB.

The AT Gold has manually adjustable ground balance (also described in the new Garrett
brochure) but it has a limit concerning the lower metal detection range (rusty little nails).
The Blisstoool also will detect small meteorites below the "rusty nail" level.

In other words: The automatic ground excluding also starts to exclude the tiny gold.

For real gold nuggets hunting at sites where the mineralisation is not that high
the new Blisstool may perform even better seen overall with the 28cm coil as long
as the nuggets size and depth is in reach. Because as we all know the more
squaremeters someone searches the higher will be the chance to find something.

The Blisstool performs better in high mineralized soil than Garrett, this is a proven fact,
by alot of people, the detection signal output is much more better under critical circumstances
because the Garrett signals get overfloated by erratic pseoudo random electronic beep-sounds
while a good trained ear still will filter out what is noise and what is a find by moving a few times
the Blisstools coil again over the hard to tell spots.

btw. in Europe often it is much more easy to find gold in very old medieval mines or caves
by searching walls of those mines or the debris or scree slope with an usual detector than
looking for gold flakes or nuggets with special small coils. In Switzerland and in South-Tyrol
they found KILOGRAMS of gold in quarz-stones in such old mines. The alps are still full of Gold,
I have a large book about this topic.

              the video here:
              http://www.blisstoolukforum.com/post...s-gold-6034036
shows an already very successful hunt at a stable background noise level.

But someone can get 50% higher performance if the setting contains moderate noise level while
moving at the very subjective personal border from distincting noise from signals.

For finding 1gram gold nuggets I still would recommend a smaller coil - this is really an
important and serious inspiration for the producer of Blisstool!
But for an experienced DIY detector hobbyist creating such a smaller coil should be no problem
at all. As example the Fisher 1266-X coil also works directly with the Blisstool, only the
discrimination level was shifted somehow while I have tested it. A little capacitor or
resistor between the right coil cables and the disc should work perfect again.

              • The 7" coil is in the works.....soon....maybe just a few more months for full distribution.

Ahmed understands the importance of this additional product and what effect it will have on additional unit sales due to the machines enhanced capabilities in gold territory usage.

                • barryny, this is very good news for all the gold nugget hunters.

Blisstool even could try to get one of those 45cm Detech Excelerator coils to work
for the large and very deep stuff.

The Garrett GTI 1500 can find a 1cm lead ball with the 45cm coil at 10cm depth -
I'm absolutly shure the Blisstool would do a much better job.
But the 35cm coil also is a great solution already.

Another important and easy to realize improvement is the coil-cable distancer.

                  The full thread is here:
                  http://www.geotech1.com/forums/showt...able-distancer

Here's the final solution and it's much better now than without that distancer:

                  • Such comparative tests usually do not project factual truth at all.
Simply because tested detectors are not all adjusted at their top performances and the same.
At models like Deus and similar "digital" machines there are numerous adjustments hidden in several menus, by which user can push machine at the edge of performances.
To do that; user (tester in this particular case) must be enough skilled and conversant to dig out what adjustments to adjust and how to adjust.
I am speaking this; having in my bag years of experiences with similar machines.
Starting from early White's Eagle II, through later Spectrum, than few Garrett's, few Minelab Explorer's and recently Deus itself.
So, one who is performing such comparative tests should be very skilled indeed if want to perform OBJECTIVE and FAIR test.
Knowing and mastering one of such machines - doesn't mean you are the expert at once on other machines too.
So i do seriously DOUBT in skills and knowledge at those frequent "testers" around the net and Youtube.

Also i do seriously DOUBT in good and fair intentions at those too.

                    Why?
Simply because i had in my own possession almost all of the models that are in count now days. It took me quite some time to master each one of those until i've been able to operate them at the very edge of their performances.
So i do know those very well and you can only guess how do i feel when see some of those comparative tests on the net!
Usually i do laugh! Laugh on human unfairness and stupidity most of the time.

But hey! Those tests are doing fine job anyway! There are always enough "sheep" to fall in such trap and being sheared!
That's how numerous average models were sold.
By this post i am not taking nobody's side. I already said my opinion earlier.
Bliss is nothing more than trimmed Wave (Magnum). Period.
EDS? Don't know, haven't seen it in action yet and do seriously doubt that will ever see it, simply because am not interested in such category of "products" at all.
But luckily we have Carl here and i am sure he will waste another $750 for nothing, just to check the story!
(Sorry Carl, it is just a joke)

Bottom line: there is no way ... and i will repeat: THERE IS NO WAY that some diy, handmade from Bulgaria, Serbia, USA, UK or wherever else can outperform top branded model! No WAY!
So you can freely wrap such comparative test and wipe your ***** with it... or just toss it.
                    ...
To those who likes to make such comparative tests: don't bother any more! Nobody sane will believe you any more.
Luckily there is INTERNET now and forums like this one, so word is spreading much easier and faster than before.
Don't bother. Don't lie yourself on first place.
                    ...
To those with "expensive cars" and "huge" monthly incomes: also don't bother! You are just looking even more stupid and miserable when talking like that! Ahahahahahahahaha!
Why? Simply because there is always more expensive car than your car and there is always somebody with much more monthly incomes than you!
Simply you don't talk about such things, simply you don't show up with those too; because is stupid.

                    Cheers!

Can you say what in this simple and legitimate question is so suspicious that need to be immediately deleted and author immediately banned from forum?:

There are a lot of comparative test done between Blisstool LTC64 and other known brand detectors.
But I cannot find comparative test between Blisstool LTC64 and Detech EDS detector nowhere.
                      Both are Bulgarian brand.
I am especially interested in test on small gold (about 1gram) nuggets.
Here is some Detech comparative test (probably promotional and with doubtful accuracy) done, but without here discussed Blisstool: http://www.deepscan.de/produkt_deepscan_eds.htm

To explain: I was on Findmall to read Reg's and Eric F. posts and then saw Blisstool forum there by coincidence only, and then decided to ask above question, from pure interest, not to make EDS promotion (this is clear from my question) or something to annoy.

So, if maybe I am not Mister Sympaticus to someone there, but why simple and legitimate question have to be deleted?

Why Blisstool Group are so terribly afraid of those Detech EDS detector, that they have to immediately delete this simple question and ban his author?

                      • I think this is best answer:
Have Detech EDS ownership meet with Blisstool ownership - both residing in Bulgaria (it can't be more than 4 hour drive if live at either end).
Let them have their own detector duel.

Now in FindMall's defense they do not police for me. They police for their readership. The above post, a rhetorical question, adds no value to anybody - what is gained from asking why one machine has not been compared with another? Like I said buy them both and make your own comparison, then make all the posts you want.

Meanwhile, I have a Blisstool (yes IV, just to check the story!) and found it to have some pluses and minuses, like about every detector. Hey, if you don't like Blisstool, then don't buy one!

I have no one (nor LTC nor EDS), but I am interesting in some real comparative test's in field of prospecting.

To yet only Ivconic's "Deus promotion" aware me that there must be "something" behind his "Deus story".

                              • Today tested, the new positioned coil cable distancer works perfect
and every Blisstool should be equiped with it.

I hope this is now the final "repair" but it was necessary:

The snaper - or what is the correct word for this thing -

? push-button, snap, press stud, snap fastener ?

that holds together the both stems was broken - the upper
                                round part was ripped off.

Blisstool should get a snaper that its made out of one piece
of metal an not such a hard-soldered breakable product.

Below you see the Garrett snaper - it will not break.
For the lower part of the stem you have to nip off
one of the round thingies otherwise it doesn't fit into the hole.

And: I'm using now also a second snaper in the upper
part of the stem - this gives much better stability.
