AFTER TESTING LORENZ DEEPMAX X6 I CHANGED MY MIND ABOUT THIS OVER PRICED METAL DETECTOR.(KELLYCO RETAIL PRICE 12999$)



WHEN COMPARE IT TO PS2 or DELTA PULSE IN SOME CASE PS2 or DELTA PULSE IS DEEPER AND LESS SOIL SENSITIVE.


DEEPMAX X6 IS VERY SOIL SENSITIVE AND HIGHLY AFFECTED BY MINERALIZATION .

the Delay system is nothing strange , many older device such Ps2 or Deltapulse have this item .

The data-logger is good but in fact do nothing more than audio signals.but in commercial advertisement it's very useful 'IT CAN SHOW YOU UNDERGROUND IMAGE !!!???!!!'

Target Classification is according the size !!:
gold range from 0-99
silver ,copper ,aluminum and copper also 0-99 according to size

and pure iron 0 to 60(factory said) but 70 (i tested)

the ferrous/non fe works only with the 35cm coil
and only very huge non-fe objects can reach 70 or higher at least 70cmX70cm or above 20 liters in one meter depth

i forgot to say that the Target classification program need a very very strong signal to work ,you loose every deep signal or small targets(under 1 liter vol is very small)


it means the discrimination works only with 35cm coil and for large frame coil it's absolutely useless.


The GBS system is a joke ,if this function enabled ,the MD become very very weak ; device only can reach about 1.5m deep in the soil, medium size targets and lower conductive objects like gold objects truly rejected.(X6 rejects an axe beneath the 1x1 coil!! with Ground 1)

the maximum depth in a place with low mineral ground with 2X2 meter coils about 3 meters for a 220litr barrel and 2m with 1X1 coil.

i discover some bronze non /fe metal objects with 2x2 coil (delay 1/Sens 5/ filter 3) those covered area about 1.5m *1m meters and in depth of 1.8 meters ,the target had really iffy signal , very very weak signal that truly i couldn't differ that signals with ground signals but we dig it up and it was a good target .

i don't want to say that but i had better experiments with my old future voyager
i need a more powerful detector that able to detect a 50cmX50cm object in depth 4-5 meters
and give a good result at least truly distinguish metals and ground minerals
Can any body help me ?

maybe it was a GPR or magnetometer or ... something that really work and not like X6 only advertised.

The goal is finding treasure , I'm looking for Technology of treasure hunting in Geotech !
According the archaeology experiments for this place all the objects remain less than 2 meters deep were from wars and suddenly attack most of them have 0.6 - 1 meters depth and they are bronze low price artifacts.

in mostly places the depth of more precise metallic objects (silver or gold) are about 3-5 meters .and the size not so big most of them are 10x10 cm and commonly the bigger the more depth.

i test many pulse metal detectors and found they are so weak for my reason .

all of those buried object well placed in isolated chamber with bricks and ancient concrete, the chamber size differ from 0.5m*1m to 2mX2m.

before i used future 2005 Voyager and that was excellent for finding chambers,but most of chambers are empty

Hi Arash, It's not as you say. I have had Rover C it had no good results and know other people who had other kind of OKM products like Future 2005, exp 5000 or even I-160. OKM products detects cavities very well, but not good for real targets(treasure). Although you are right in some aspects, one of the best devices are PI MDs which can be useful in many treasure hunting purposes. of course there is predominant differences between producers. I have one of best detectors which is a PI metal detector that is unique by its' own. none of other devices can compete with it. you can see a little about it here: http://www.geotech1.com/forums/showt...hlight=MDL8500

and 0.5mx0.5mx0.5 m= 125 litr
is 125 liters volume in depth of 4 m unreachable with metal detector?

Hi Arash,
1- why horrible?
2- You know better it's a weak possibility to make tests for precious metals in comparison with junk types, cos is very hard to prepare or access to the same size metals, but I have tested with 10Cm x 10Cm copper plate covered with gold( remained from mineoro FG80) can hit it easily from more than 150Cm.

Arash, you should consider that when searching for very old buried targets it's very different than fresh objects. (As you have experienced with those OKM magnetometers)
one time we hit with it a thin handle of a broken spoon made of aluminum in 100-110 Cm. it was for about 40-50 years ago[I guess].

I worked with the X 5 and 6. Have a high level of stability. You can never compare it with delta puls and pulse star Lorenz is the average power to detect a disc 35 for a gold coin 45-50 cm and for 20*20 target with 1*1 fram is 180cm The device does not work in any way weaken gbs pulse.

I agree with ma330, Arash your lorenz is fake, I own one and is incredibly stable and more powerful than any other PI detectors. My results were better even..

actually i will buy a detector and i will use it in Iran, would you please help me to find good brand,my target is same as you : 50x50 in depth 4-5 meters
and if you know Iran i'll working in Sanandaj (West of Iran)
