Possible way to improve a Metal Detector?

I did not know where to put this, I looked all over and finally decided on here, if anyone finds this to be wrong just move it where you think it may work best, I am easy either way......

I do not know how it works or even if it works, but I would not be surprised (assuming that it works) if we cannot use the spray to both improve the transmitted and received signal of some if not all metal detectors, though I would imagine (maybe?) that the spray needs to be separated for best working, not just spray a finished metal detector search head! Though that needs to be tested as well!!

Do please post your thoughts and ideas on the subject.

I do not know what a can of the spray costs.

Unfortunately this idea will be of no use for a metal detector, as the search coils act like a transformer, and not an antenna.
