It always worries me when a detector (or any product) is promoted like snake oil.
Or when so called "Blisstool users" spam legitimate manufacturer forums, it raises a red flag to me.

I was interrested in the Blisstool for about 5 minutes but quickly went back to my desire for the Deus. I saw the Deus video on a fine gold chain. All I can say is remarkable.

        Citation (with my remark):

"These are terrible for EMI....the F75 and T2 are totally unhuntable around them....freq shift doesn't help it...some days you can go up there and find it tolerable and some days you just have to call it quits and go someplace else."

Which of those "some days" was on Daniel's detecting date over those place?

Hi guys, today visited to http://www.blisstoolukforum.com/ and saw that there was a warning from a visitor to the forum asked administrator whether BLISSTOOL have CE certificate, that because of the high power that has BLISSTOOL is dangerous for human health, 20 minutes the message has been deleted.

            Hi
Ive not had the pleasure of owning a Deus yet also the Etrac although have used them a few times cant really judge them until a year down the line.
The best detector I have for small gold is the DFX set up on graph with my own settings, last year dug a gold guinea 1700s at just over 7" in pasture where as my ML Quattro wouldnt even see that in the air on all metals let alone in the ground.
With the DFX using graph tend to dig all solids either side of the scale as by sticking to all right tend to leave the deep old good stuff behind.
Talking of depth as all detectors it depends on how deep you want to dig for crap, the quiter the location the deeper you will detect with better discrimination its the law of phisics, so unless your doing tests in the same locations its not a accurate comparison just a guide.
Ive know doubt at all that the blisstool mentioned on here is a good detector but like all its only as good as the person using it, and its location.
My opinion todate is theres very little left in the ground after Ive passed it with DFX apart from what I deside not to dig, and thats the big, question as to what we deside to leave behind, the true older more dedicated detectorist will dig everything and they are the ones who normally find the hoards, thats where discrimination goes out the window.
Far as gold it can come in anywhere through the scales depending on it proof depth and whats in the ground with it.
Dave from near where I live had detected on that field for the last 25 years and that particular day desided to dig the iffy signal which he had passed many times, and it turned out to be a full barrel load of mixed coins which had been offerings a couple of thousand years ago and now in the local musium.
The guinea that I found was such a intermittent reading that if I hadnt been on graph all metals would never have dug it up, incase you not seen one there very thin about the diameter of a modern penny half the depth.
Had more to say but her indoors is calling, need to get ready for work.

            Regards
