what are the improvements exactly you made with the Pirate Black-Devil? Is it now 5 or 20 cm deeper?

What sort of improvements you want to make with next "better" detector? Do you know how to exchange programmed ICs?

Get a cheap Minelab Model and try to improve that if you can.
Or get one of those turkish Pulse Induction homebrew units
(don't have the name at the moment, but there is some info about
them here in this forum).

Or use 2 Pirate Black-Devils and create one Super Pirate Pitchblack-Mastersatan out of them.
