fisher open search coil

Dear everyone,

I ordered the surf PI kit and somebody one to sell for 50 Euro 2 used fisher open search coils, my question would they work on my SUrf PI metal detector?

Fisher made an "Impulse" PI detector with open (spider) coils, which should work. Other Fisher coils would not work.

Thanks for the quick response, it was fitted on a Fisher f2 metal detector, can not find if the fisher f2 is a PI based MD, hope you can clear that for me.

The Fisher F2 is a VLF detector, not a PI.
