      • I was prepared to be amazed, but not to be as amazed as I was when it arrived!

Packed with information, worth every penny, indispensable for anyone interested in this subject.

        Thank you Carl.

        • I'm glad everyone seems to like it. When you get a chance to give it a fair look, please go back to Amazon and post a review. I'd really appreciate it!

          • Such a serious book requires a serious approach. 7 years of work on the book is clearly visible even at a cursory glance.
That is why winter is the ideal period of the year to devote to this kind of capital work. The book came to me at the best possible moment!
These days I'm "taking stock" with this year behind us and a series of holidays are about to come. There's no better time for a book!
These days I plan to sit down and start reading slowly. In the meantime, I inquired with the local artisans; my plan is to make a strong book covers.
The ITMD1 is already in such a covers, but for the purpose of the previous photo I took it out of the covers.
Because it would be a real shame if a book like this gets marks and damages.
There is a way to make a covers that the book (front and back) slides into and then the book is protected very well.
Yesterday I called a local printer and arranged for the covers to be made.
What to say? A simple "congratulations" has already been said.
I will add that I expected nothing less from you Carl.
The book is a "bible" and it's a shame that I'm not lucky enough to have had a book like this 20-30 years ago!
The new young people who come to the forum today are really lucky ones , because they finally have a document that will shorten their learning period and years of gaining a valuable knowledge.

            • Hi everyone,
Mr Moreland, I almost finished the book and I must say that it is incredible. If I may, I noticed a couple of typos:

Page 159: "... How the "D"s9 are shaped..."
Page 417: "... With reverse voltage many capacitors (should be DIODES) data sheets..."

I'll let you know if I spot more when I will read it again hahaha.

Again, reading it shows all the efforts you put into it.

Now, about ITMD 4... I'M JOKING!!

              Thank you!

Thank you, I have added this to the Errata thread.

            • "... Done wrong, it leaves detectorists yearning for the good ol' days of the all-analog designs..."

              Ugh... this looks very familiar...!?

I'm reading the book in order without skipping, which is a very rare case when it comes to my "reading"...
              I'm currently on page 51.
It's going slow because there's holiday madness going on, lots of commitments and I'm constantly interrupted by someone interrupting my reading. I really like the book so far!

Heheh, sorry about that, you're right. My lack of knowledge comes from the fact that I've never used Amazon (for shopping). But it's true, there's a massive printing house in Wrocław where they produce various books . Google helped me figure that out, hehe . It's nice to know that the book will be printed in Poland.
