I was tired of drilling forms and looking for some type of a grid board when stumbled on the dart boards . With a dart board we can form many different styles of coil and even D.D's at the same time. If you take all the metal off we can even test on the form. And they are cheap enough to have a couple if you needed.

For a flat coil a piece of paper and double sided tape can work well. Its a bit tedious at first but your hands get used to it. Quality double sided tape is a must and with this method it is easy to tune the coil lower if needed by pulling wraps off the tape.
This is the coil form with the tape ready to go.

This coil is 26 awg
43 wraps
468 uh
2.8 resistance
And is completely clear at 5.5 us of the fly back pulse as tested on a Mini Pulse Plus.

Hope this makes it easier for some to experiment with multiple coils.
