Hi Guys,
I was wondering if the above kit would be any good for DIY detector kits and coils.
Regards
I built one. Works find within its limitations. Being only single channel you can't check the phase. Nulling a coil its fine. Will get damaged by over voltage on a PI if you are not careful.
Really useful for checking car sensors as it runs from a battery.

Hi,Thanks for the replies.
What do you suggest getting so can be safely used to build a PI detector .
From what you say i need a multi channel and over voltage protection oscilloscope.

I built the DSO 138 and 150 Both do what they can just fine. Got fed up about needing the second Channel and just go my self a Hantek. Love it. Does anything I would use a Real O Scope for and more. Still limited to the 5V input the X 10 and X 100 probes solve that issue.
Is it possible to use DSO138 as trigger for old analog 2 channel oscilloscope?
Would be usefull to see freq, voltage on dso and 2 phase shifts on another scope. Did not find that anywhere :-/
i have 2 DSO 138s i wonder if there a way to link them up making a 2 probe scope, i have a Hantek they are really good, but i use my DSO 138 for quick testing

Looks like they add second channel, so if you update both you will have 2x2 channels Now just trigger one to another and. Did not tried yet but sure will.Last year I made upgrade to measure voltage, freq, duty cycle... But this looks much better
seems all i need to do is cut the trigger line and feed the trigger into it simple lol, i wont need to update them, one is a copy so i don't think it will update that is why i have 2 i complained i had a copy so got another one, i might just update one though just for the test
