  • Hakko 907 Soldering Iron with ZD 931 soldering station

Do You think i can mount a Hakko Soldering Iron : https://de.aliexpress.com/item/High-...E&gclsrc=aw.ds

To my ZD 931 Soldering Station? : https://www.pollin.de/p/loetstation-...SABEgL13fD_BwE

Voltage is the same and the power is almost identic.

Hakko uses 5 Pin connector and my Soldering Station has a 4 Pin connector.

Pin 5 is for ESD protection.

I tried it and it heats the iron up very fast. The display shows steady 25 Degree Celsius.
I think this iron has a different resistance for the thermo measurement.

Thermo Sensor of the Hakko Clone has 50.6 Ohm resistance.
Thermo Sensor of the Original one has 2.7 Ohm. Thats why it heats steady.

Do you think i can solve this problem with a parrallel resistor?

The first one is a thermoresistor, the other is a thermocouple. The parallel resistor doesn\t help.
