I'm wondering how everyone has their workshop set up to reduce interference and to eliminate false signals while working on detectors? In the shop I'm working in, I'm having allot of difficulty positioning PI mono coils to not pick up the rebar in the concrete floor, and to not pick up 60Hz interference. It's quite frustrating and very tedious. So how do you do it, or do you not really have that problem?
As a second question, I may have the opportunity to build a workshop on my property. I need to replace an existing shed and am thinking about building something big enough for storage on one side and a workshop on the other. If you have any pointers on things to do, or not do, when designing a detector workshop, I'd appreciate it.
