    Hi all,

here is my new DD-coil project (see pdf files).
All dimensions is mm, projections/sections is an EU.

The designed material is Necuron 480, see this link:

    or visit this site:
    http://www.necumer.de

Unfortunatelly, the minimum thickness is 50mm, but one vertical (carpenter) band saw is rapidly make two 320x320x20mm tables.

The sample jpg-file is getting from net ( im dont remember...), where is the producer use Necuron 310.

Worth keeping a eye on that Idea, let us know the pros and cons bearing in mind as you said its 50mm thick, not all of us own or have access to band saws although I am thinking of purchaseing one,but would only be a small one due to lack of space in my workshop, so i dont think that would be much good unless you say differently
The coil making machine im building will also sufice as a bench drill and milling machine if all works out, so should save money there and wont take much room.
    Thanks for your input
    Kind regards
    Dave

There is no reason to use expensive and relative heavy material like Necuron.

You can use on the same way relative cheap Styrodur C (Extruded polystyrene) used in House thermal insulation. Available in 20mm board tickness too.

You can even "milling" it by soldering iron (best bigger 100W or more).

        Hi all!

This head is complete, but not easy
The work with this head is difficult, therefore

        this project is dead. Sorry.

        Good hunting
