  • Bounty Hunter Big Bud Pro SE PLUS model

Click image for larger version Name:	BigBudProSE-003.jpg Views:	0 Size:	73.3 KB ID:	424894 Back when I spoke to George Payne, who was still at Teknetics, and it was still being run as a company. I told him, I wanted a detector, which was sensitive, and went really deep. I did not know they were days away, from going out of business. You see, one of the major owners, was having problems with his wife, and I do not know the details on that problem, so will move right on, as I is none of my business. George told me, they had a new model, the Bounty Hunter BIG BUD Pro SE (Special Edition) PLUS. So I said, connect me with shipping. He connected me with Shipping, and they had TWO of them in stock. I did not know what they were, nor did I know what they had inside them as far as options or features, only TWO LEFT? I bought both of them. Glad I did. A couple of days later, Tek LTD was out of business. IRS (Internal Revenue Service), I guess they had Income Taxes that were not paid. They arrived at my place of business, and a couple of days later, I received notice from IRS, that they had my name down on the list, and I could make an offer to buy the company for unpaid income taxes. Well, I was running a heck of a profitable mail order business, making a lot of money each month, and was not interested in bidding on Tek Ltd and Bounty Hunter. So I passed on the opportunity you see... I liked the unit. Very good unit. RARE UNIT!!! Very few made at that time. Brand new model. Created to use up in-stock parts you see... Very sensitive! Went very deep! Glad I bought BOTH of them that day!!! My two units, were more then the Big Bud Pro SE, they were the Big Bud Pro SE PLUS you see. So I looked in the new catalog, that I had received a few days earlier. Yep, there was a PLUS model..........This was back around 1989. So far, I know of NO OTHER persons who have even one of the PLUS models! Now I scanned the user manual for that model. No use posting it here, as only a few, such as my TWO MODELS were made and sold! George Payne left, and went to work for Compass Electroics. While at Compass, George designed some models, I was a dealer, but the models were not as good as the Big Bud Pro SE PLUS model! I have the full image photo of the Bounty Hunter model, back then, so am sticking it here with these other two photos...Somewhere I stored the brochure, but not sure where I stored it...

So now you know, what the LAST MODEL VERSION of detectors, that was made and sold, by Tek LTD, who owned and made both Teknets and Bounty Hunter metal detectors, back during those last days!!! This was their LAST model, from Tek Ltd back then. If their would have been more then TWO of them, I would still own the more then TWO of them you see...I use one of them myself. The other one is stored, still brand new model in my basement!!!

I SAID above, it was in the new catalog. I am going to stick the material advertisement of the Big Bud Pro SE PLUS, right from that new (old catalog) here, so you can read what George Payne had in his last model, for Tek Ltd, back in those days! Now remember, this is the PRO model, not the PRO PLUS model... That PRO PLUS, had all of the options of the MASTER SCHEMATIC itself!!!!!!!!!!!! You see, they made all of the model versions, from the MASTER SCHEMATIC version........so they had a few, very very few, of the final model version in stock, and I bought TWO of those models!!!

Click image for larger version Name:	Rings_002.jpg Views:	0 Size:	39.1 KB ID:	425921 I was going to edit today, what I know about my TWO Bounty Hunter Big Bud Pro PLUS metal detectors, bu the 30 day time period, lousy thing anyway, is expired, so could not edit it. All I can say THEN is I believe the PLUS model contains ALL of the FACTORY MASTER SCHEMATIC options and features. Yes, when George Payne built his metal detector LINE, HE FIRST made up a MASTER SCHEMATIC. From the MASTER SCHEMATIC, they would BUILT
VARIOUS LOWER OPERATING MODELS, introduce them, sell them, and at the end, THEN and ONLY THEN, would they build the MASTER MACHINE, which the Master Schematic was created and drawn for............

So I got I THINK, TWO of the MASTER units, called the PLUS MODEL, just before TEK LTD folded, and went out of business. I dug up a lot of old faint signals, from deep in the ground, with the PLUS model...ONE of them were OLD VINTAGE PLATINUM DIAMOND RING. Want to see IT? I will stick a photo of those two Platinum Vintage ring below.... Platinum Vintage Ring was a very very very very FAINT signals years ago!!!!! They are very hard to find as they do
not sound loud at all.....Well, got two photos of Old Rings, not sure if these photos are the ones that have PLATINUM VINTAGE Rings or not, as I do not have .PDF software on this computer, that is connected to the INTERNET, If not there, I do have TWO of the Vintage Platinum OLD RINGS in my hands...Oh, stuck the 2nd photo, of the 4 rings, right above, larger of course. Now the 4th gold ring, is not pictured. It was Victorian Ring, all of the faceted stones were out of the ring, it was the DEEPEST ring find that day. Never took a photo of it though. It was very very old ring. The stones were all white TOPAZ faceted stones, genuine TOPAZ you see. They used to put glass stones looking like Topaz in old rings too back in the old days. Crooked? I think so, but since I was not there at that time, only guessing so far...... 4 gold rings in ONE DAY?????? Damn good records for the BH-B-B-Pro-Plus detector.........

OH!!!! One day at a vintage old park, I used my Big Bud Pro SE PLUS, and found two vintage wheat pennies, and found 4 old GOLD Vintage Rings!!! Now that was my best record for ONE DAY to find 4 vintage gold rings... Want to see them? Stuck the photo right below...

OHHH??? You want to see that black stone??? I called it a BLACK CRYSTAL that day, was not part of any jewelry, think it wash from a flood.. But the
photo is right below. What is it? Not sure, might be quartz though, or some other form of mineral crystals. Was digging, and here it came up TOO!

Well, once I manged to see the photos on the post, I see the photos do not contain any PLATINUM DIAMOND Rings. Sorry........
Went looking, found the photo of the TWO Victorian PLANTINUM Rings, but these are not diamond ones, are the Platinum WEDDING
ENGRAVED BANDS. Hand engraved by a master engraver too...Very rare too. Only got two of them so far. Faint signals!
