The Compass Forum has a new web address

Most of you who have been to the forum lately noticed it was down. Nabble the Forum host downsized their servers at the same time shut down the forums.
The forums would be put back up on the server if the forum owners responded to Nabbles email. Original Compass Forum owner, gave up the forum many years ago.
We were given Admin rights to keep the forum going anyway we liked. Orig. owner did not transfer ownership to us.

Anyways, with a lot of hard work the Compass Forum was backed up and migrated to a new web server. No longer on the Nabble server.

The new web address is http://www.compassforums.org/

You have to register to access the forum. After that an email is sent to confirm your email address.
However, when you then try to continue you get this message:

So as it sits anyone can register but, in order to access the forum itself. The new user must answer, to indicate they are not a robot and indeed human.
I will get an email, then can see the answer and then will authorize the new member to have access to everything on the forum. So far so good, it has kept the spammy scammers at bay.

If there are no schematics, pcbs, clear photos about detectors... than i don't mind entering the forum.
But if there are schematics of Compass detectors, not already published here; than i would like to enter and collect those.
Simple as that.

I was at one time, a valued member of Compass Forum. Suddenly of no faut of my own, I was permitted to view the posts, but was not permitted to post myself. There was no explanation to myself. So I removed all of my posts, and left that forum. Geotech invited me to Geotech.Com forum, gave me two subdirectories to post in. I am happy and valued at Geotech.Com. I still have no idea why I was treated that way. Otherwise I would still be an active member of Compass Forum. I noticed that I still have some posts on that forum from the past. Now that is strange, as I did remove 100% of my posts...

I see that the forum owner, saved my posts, and re-stuck them into that forum. I did delete 100% of my posts, when I left. Not sure how legal that is though to repost a persons posts when one has restricted him, and he deleted them his self...Sven, is Phil still running that forum? Or are you running it????????

I would say it is an illegal thing to take ones personal User Name again, and use it against his own will... I believe it may be damaging my user name.....

At one time, under the older owners, it was an good forum. I was told by some people, it is almost out of business. If that is true, it is a shame. I used to love it, but then I was frozen in the forum, I could read the posts, but could not post myself, so I email Phil, he admitted problems, so I removed 100% of my posts, and left, and joined Carl's forum. But I heard some of my old posts, are there yet, with my name on them. Strange, as I not only removed all of them, I double checked, and they were all gone back then, so I left. A forum to me is worthless if I cannot post, but still can read the posts. I never did anything in my mind to warrant being frozen...
