History Lesson

Hi: need a history lesson, Can someone till me when and where Bounty Hunter started. I now have two Outlaws, one from Oregon and one from Arizona. They both have the same knob ,switch configurations but have different graphics. I used to own one that I bought new,since sold-wish hadn't, same basic set up, different shade of blue and different graphics? Since that was my first detector, kind of have a soft spot for them. Would like to know if anyone knows. THANKS

Bounty Hunter was originally Pacific Northwest Instruments in Oregon. They changed their name to Bounty Hunter. Then they got bought out by Space Data Systems in Tempe, Arizona. Then they were bought by Teknetics, back to Oregon. Then they were bought by First Texas.
