I saw a Cue metal detector for sale the other day, I have never heard of that brand. Anybody know anything about them?

I have an idea. I have saved some pictures of Cue metal detectors. They are very similar to Compass metal detectors sold in the late 70's in France. It seems they are made by Compass Electronics. Not sure. Just compare the Cue's coil with the coils of late 70's Compass detectors ... (e.g. early Coin Hustler)
The electronic box of the Cue metal detectors is made of plastic where as Compass electronic housings are made of aluminium ...
      Just a hint ...

I wondered if they were related to Compass as it reminded me of them. Thanks guys for the info, I enjoy learning something about old stuff.

Cue was made by original Compass people....

I used to be a dealer for Compass Electronics, the original people, not the crooks that came with the Compass name later on.

They made the Cue detectors, for a product to sell in the discount stores and department stores, but they still sold them to us Compass dealers, but our price was higher than what the discount stores paid, so after the initian ones, I quit the Cue detectors, but still bought and sold the Compass, and still am in love with the Compass machines.
