What can i use as a subsitute for 2n5485 and mpsa13 transistors for the geotech baracuda?

Hi,

the 2N5485 (N-Ch Fet) you can replace with a J113 and the MPSA13 (NPN-Darlington) can be replaced with a BC337. But you need to place it into the PCB the "mirrowed way" because
the pin pattern is reverse compare to the MPSA13, meaning the MPSA13 has a EBC (123) pin pattern and the BC337 has a CBE (321) pin pattern.
In case you make a new PCB design, I would rightaway use components which are easy to find.

Use 2N3819 or MPF102 for MPSA13 use BC517 be careful to check datasheet for pinout

cant find those too i will try maybe j113 and bc 337, i can get the j113 from a different seller i just wanted all my components from one but they only have j112

Pay attention to the cutoff voltage spec. The J112 might work, might not.

I would be careful buying from aliexpress from China! Sometimes marked components are not really always original, so it may confuse you that it doesn't work! the chinese thing i got some which were really expensive or not available but it took me about 3 months, i wanted to get them locally if possible

i mean it has very general stuff but when i look for some parts you either have to pay a lot or get them from ebay which takes a lot of time also even aliexpress is banned here leave ordering stuff from it
