hammerhead d stuck on whats wrong

im trying to build a hammerhead rev d ,
ok i built the board with vco opt one made the links ( two) middle pins and bottom left and right , anstable mid and right pin for the link and the link for single coil , building as per instruction went ok apart from tp 4 was around -1 v to 1.5 aprx
i first tested it with 9v battery then built coil 550 uh apx before fitting coil i tried it without r5 every thing seemed ok but quiet tone out of speaker i then removed 9v battery and put my 12 volt supply on ( opps 13.8 power supply ) ive now got 12 volt reg after the power supply and before the hammerhead pcb i noticed a smell burning from r41 vol then realised i was using a 4 ohm speaker ok now 8 ohm fitted tried again ,
burnt out q11 replaced that i can adjust r31 and r35 and get differant tone in speaker , q7 getting hot , and with coil fitted q3 gets hot , now tp1 0.4 v , tp2 -10.15v , tp3 -0.93v , tp4 stays at 4.31v , tp6 -4.85 , tp 7 -4.78 , tp9 it varies from apx 0.1v to 0.30 v ic7 p6 1.5v p9 0v if i put scope on tp1 the trace is like the lower trace (bottom trace is high freq (~2kHz).) and is adjustable in width if that makes sence
