There is a jumper missing in the parts-placement diagram for opt. 1. One is needed to connect IC11-pin 1 to -5D. If you look at the current placement diagram, there is a short jumper just above IC11 connecting pin 2 to IC5. The additional jumper should be right above that one, connecting pin 1 to the line that goes to pin 8.
