  • Pulse at TP6 interacts with signal at TP4

    Hi All,

I notice that when I decrease the delay at TP6 until it comes close to the pulse at TP4, it distorts the shape of the trailing edge of TP4. While I consider pulse at TP6 should only start after the end of puse at TP4, I am just curious if other people get the same shape of TP4, when TP6 delay is too small.
I think it can have a negative impact when fine-tuning the delay at TP6 to be close to the end of TP4 (where a small target produces the largest change in signal).

    Regards,
    Nicolae

    No more interaction TP4 - TP6!

It looks like I inadvertently found a solution to prevent the interaction between TP6 and TP4. When trying to decrease the delay of the coil, I decided to insert a fast diode in series with the drain of IRF740.
While I am unsure if the delay has been decreased by the fast diode, it looks like I discovered a solution to my previous problem. The circuit doesn't show any interaction between TP6 and TP4 anymore.
    I used a BYT56J (3A, 600V) from an old CRT monitor board.
