I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with my coil. It's a large coil so I had to use 18 awg in order to keep the resistance low. It is not tinned. After tearing apart a factory coil, I realized everything in it is tinned. So can I assume wire that is not tinned is a poor choice? If so, what makes it a problem? Thanks

For what machine. For VLF solid enamel coated copper wire works fine ???
For a Pulse some info here seems that the coating silver/tin makes very little difference in the real world. Just the thinner the strands the better. I have had trouble with some cheap wire I was using. Could not get it to work well at all. If I pull on one of the strands and it feels too strong.
Pretty sure your wire not tinned will not stop it from working.
