Hello everyone! I don't think I had the opportunity to see a discussion on the forum about whether a metal detector is dangerous for people who wear a pacemaker ? And does the metal detector bother people nearby who wear a pacemaker and at what distance ? Thank you all for your response!

When I designed a security walk-thru for White's I did research on this so that we could put an appropriate warning in the manual. All the info I could find was unanimous, that metal detectors posed no risk to pacemakers.

No problem, even 1m should be fine. My mom now has a pacemaker, next time I visit I'll take a metal detector and see what happens.
