I am lucky to have a store like those near me. Skycraft Surplus, it's about a 2 1/2 hour drive. I try to go at least once a year. They have moved to a new location which Iooks pretty good from another YT video.

We used to have a place in Dayton Ohio called "Mendelson's". It was unbelievable. It was 600,000 sq ft of space and was jam packed with everything you could imagine from electronic components to mannequins. They had a lot of discrete electronic components. Everything was really cheap. It closed a couple of years ago. I really miss it.
