I never saw one real...just in some old manuals... Really good piece for every electronics folk...and also conditions are very good.
Seems brand new!
Is it made of pure quartz or there is something added ???

Quartz bar, but made with pure quartz or what? Other "rare" think I have seen is a filter of 200 kHz based on two special bars. You transmitt 200 Khz in one bar and the other receive only this frequency, you can see in oscilloscope how decrease dramatically the signal if you generate the incorrect frequency.

What is the difference between quartz "bar" and regular quartz? i own a few VLF crustals , some like regular crystals but bigger, other in miniature glass tubes.
