A piece of this fishing float submerged in high octane, unleaded
gasoline was reduced to MUSH in less than 30 days. I also have
piece of this float in several other fluids and NO damage is easily
visible after thirty days. I had ASSUMED that this float was made
of polyethylene but I do NOT know. If anybody is knowlegeable about
plastics - let me know and give me your address and I will send you
a piece of the float.
Thanks to Cris and Peter for their reply to my recent posting. I
will be back to you in a day or two. I am trying to cast toroids
and between several failures and the above mentioned problem, I have
just run out of temporal assets for the moment.
