  • xp 250/adventis2 mod

    Hi all i see a previous post about this mod but what i didnt understand is that ,do you leave the fixed ground balance (trimmer) still on the circuit board of the xp250 or do you remove it as well many thanks for any help

    Hello,
    You remove only the resistor that set in the middle ground balance and leave alone the trimmer.

        Yes it does. I get ground rejection at eleven o'clock now. This means a little more depth. In very hot grounds you can eliminate falsing with more rejection, turning it a bit more clockwise. Now it is a "full optional" detector, and if you want the "old guy" just leave pot in mid position...

          got myself new adventis stickers and same control knob it now looks same as a adventis 2 with all respect it is one i suppose.. thanks mate

            Yes, this is not a mod but a transformation, and your ADX is now an Adventis 2.
