  • ... I think a correct value could be: 3F93h, but I haven't try yet!

    • you dont Need to set any fuses it is not an atmel chip
it is a microchip pic Controller use the pickit3 to load the hex file on chip
in the Setting activate target power 5v direct from programmer

        Bernte_one, thank for your reply!
Yes, already seen; I do not have the pickit3 but just an old parallel programmer (Picall).
Chips programmed in this way do not seem OK: No sound at startup and LEDs always flickering. I have to investigate, perhaps some incompatibility of Malysh's hexadecimal files format with the programmer.

        • I finished malysh fm v2 like in schematic. i did not mount the led's and cap/diode from red circle. pic is 12F629. (i don't find hex for 12f675 fm V2 ) When i connect power it beeps once, when target is approached to the coil i can hear only one click and then nothing, no more click. After less than one minute it's making another beep, like autocalibration. Calibration buton works also. I think the PIC programmer is ok.
I tried also 16Mhz/20Mhz quartz. Two types of coils (both 1400uh-1500uh) diam 5cm 0.3mm wire and 0.15mm (not shielded).
At pin 5 i have this oscilation, my calculation is 19khz.

          • That's what I did.
Try and respect the values and will definitely work.

            • Thanks for reply, i know your video already, i just wanted to make FM V2, not FM2 V2, because of limited space inside housing i choose. Maybe i need to make FM2 V2.
Is it ferite core n the coil? I've heard that with ferite will act like a compass.

              • I used a ready made coil. He was on a ferrite core and we recovered from a old TV. It has a value of 3mH.

                • use AMS1117-3.3 instead LM317 (delete R1 and R2).
                  in package SOT-223

The coil on the ferrite rod is very sensitive to the magnetic field of the earth
