Thunder-5, its not my problem-you can tell all about that circuit to Yuri(aka Ciklon)---but any way all other "thunder" was a good detectors--my good friends using thunder-3 and 4-gt,and what can i say---its much better ,not like your poor "whites" schematics---its making good 30-35cm to cuper coin in the ground,with stable discrimination level...8-)

I'm surprised kt315, you made the same mistake as many Swedish people who use "learn" instead of "teach". In Swedish that happens because "lära sig" means "to learn" and "lära" means "to teach", is it the same in Lithuanian?
However, just for you:
to teach: to guide the studies of, to instruct by example, to impart the knowledge of
to learn: to come to know, to get knowledge.

As you can see "to teach" is used to "give" knowledge to others, while "to learn" is used to "get" knowledge to yourself.

I am still interesting in accurate 3900 schematic.
Because all that have been posted so far is not accuate.
I already founded several mistakes at previous posted datas.
I will trace it now. When finished i will post here schematic..

Here is what i did. It is possible that i also made some mistake, because original 3900 pcb is horror for tracing. Was it me (to tired) or this specific pcb; fact is that this pcb is horror for tracing. Most probably drawn by some lunatic.
That's why intend to trace it correctly and later draw my own pcb, smaller and much better.
If you spot any mistake please let me know.


P.S. you will notice many resistors with different values than those from previous work, done by our turkish colleagues. I am not sure if there are real differences in 3900 versions (maybe they have different version than my) or those were only mistakes form turkish colleagues. Because i am 100% sure in values i am posting here. 1000% sure and i guarantee those are accurate.
Maybe i made some conection wrong...am to tired, but values are accurate, don't worry about those.

Is it possible that White's made some resistors values corrections in late 3900 version?
Because i am very confused with turkish version!? Are those guys really made so many mistakes ?!

13 resistors differs !?!? To much! That's why i am asking this, because it is hard to beleive that turkish guys made so many mistakes!??

Ivconic, maybe the PCB the Turkish guy had, used 1% resistors. These are difficult read by eye. Notice how your values are different by 10x on many. I used to own a 3900, in the 1980's it was really stable.

Yes, at my 3900 pcb there were also 1% resistors. So i removed them from pcb and than measured. That's how i got proper and accurate values and also chance to scan original pcb on scanner.
