  • Doubts Twin Loop TreasureSeeker

I have some doubts on twinLoop Treasure Seeker, lets kee[ aside the sensitivity of this project and lets see into component and circuitry issues.

The 2 opamps are driven by +5v and -5V supply. One opamp is LM709 and other is cmos fet TLO81 , these are driven by 2 batteries, assume we are not using switch sw1, ands we use 2 different switches for to on the +ve & -ve supplies, if we switch the +ve supply first and switch on -ve supply later after few seconds,we are switching on the -ve rail after some time, will the opamps get damaged??

And there is a large capacitor C1 2200uf and after we switch off the power using the same switch SW1 mentioned in the project, the -ve power decays slowly due to the 2200uf large capacitor, the +ve rail decays fast, this has an effect on opamps like -ve rails still has some voltage than +ve rail, does this damage the 2 opamps and which opamp gets damaged fet or cmos.

Dont tell me that we need to use SW1 only to get simultaneous on of the power, even if we use sw1 we get a millisecond difference in oning of +ve and -ve rails.

Opamps are generally designed to be tolerant to all sorts of power-up sequencing. No need to worry.
