Old pinpointer

It`s old but sensitive russian pinpointer. I made it several years ago and it worked. May be this sircuit will be useful for somebody...

This devise was made for needs of the soviet state. It`s enough stable and sensitive. This detector was made as handset, it had litle coil (~5cm in diametre) at the end. As you see they even made termocompensation - R18. This detector is very sensitive to litle targets as litle coins etc. When I was making it I used transformer from litle poket radio. I think it`s "construction of sunday morning" but it can be useful for archeological needs.

I find that old circuits often have original technical solutions that can be useful for building your own detector whith necessary characteristics. I am collecting old circuits and can send unknown. Can I insert insert circuits from old magazines? How about rules of this forum?

So for example is the next project known among members of forum. This is TR deep detector also known as "barrel". Barrel - the shape of the search head. It is enough original. I could translate the text.
