Can you please tell me what is the difference between software V0, 5 that you use, and the full version.
Where are the archives of PIM-02.
Any other information that is useful, because I am interested in the construction of this MD.

Hi Jose, generaly v02 don't have discrimination (if i remember)
v05 have discrimination good one, and this is last published software for now, of course it is demo software, demo and full version don't have diferences except limit for 500 on of switching.
elbombaci also made software V06, i don't know anything abouth that versionn, you can contat him for details.

Generally PIM-2 is worth to be made, it's one werry good detector, and i notice only one problem, if small target (coins) don't lie perfectly horizontal (referenced to coil), PIM-2 can't detect it at all.
I don't know is this jus problem in my PIM-2 or major problem of this detector.

Perhaps the design of the detector does not provide a low delay. Could be the cause of the poor sensitivity to small coins or gold ring.

This is in my opinion typical of PI coils. Coins and rings go deeper when held flat or horizontal.

If you turn them on edge the depth drops dramatically.

If you cannot detect a coin on it's edge you need a smaller coil, or a very well made bigger one.

You won't lose as much depth as you think with a smaller coil, because the valuable items can be detected and detected deeper.

I have made 2 coils 30 cm of diameter but I have a problem
when i measure the first coil I find 4.5 ohm
and the second (CAT5E) is 8 ohm
so the question .
Which coil is correct to use?

I made 30cm coil with CAT5E 3X8 ( so 24 tur)
But the problem is
When I measure the the coil I find 8

-By Digital set Measures 3 ohm.
-Try to calibrate the device before measuring .the short between two measurements lead will give first value of wire resistance and measure the value then subtract the first value,give coil resistance.
