The photo above is of the tow plate (prior to installation). I'm using two shackles which will be attached to the RG-58 cable. Note that the wire is 150# stainless steel line used for downriggers.
Two pieces of line, one as a back-up. This stuff is pretty strong and will not create much (if any) additional drag.
Fishing tackle was used to crimp the eye loop.
