  • Frequency of 2-box

I have come across some interesting frequency data and it would fit into making a 2-box detector so I need to know what a basic 2-box operates so as to save me some time. any help is appreciated.

Didd youtry using a search engine, like Google? "two box metal detector" gives hits like this: http://www.kellycodetectors.com/Dete...xdetectors.htm. 82KHz is a common frequency. C-scope in the U.K also make a 2-box machine.

A 2-box can operate at any frequency you want.

low freq EMF goes deepper. I am not a physicist to tell you why&what is going on but probably ground influence is low in this case. this is why Dmitry deemon did choice 2kHz for his 2-box md. no 'you want' here. experiment.

That means you can make a wideband (pulse induction) metal detector with orthogonal loop configuration. I tested this with Superscan - operates great!

what topic killer did mean asking question? PI of VLF IB principle? we do not know this. pi 'velosiped' configuration was been many times discussed. velosiped is NOT ORTHOGONAL but PLANAR configuration.

Thanks Carl - After looking at google answers I had thought that may be the case. The frequencies were all over the spectrum.
