Hello!
I want to build a VLF-detector.
The frequency is determined by a quartz oscillator.
Often metaldetector have problems with power lines.
Is it better (to avoid disturbance) to use a frequency as a multiple of the power-frequecy (50 Hz here in Europe), or should I take any other frequency?
I hope you can understand my question.
Should I take 7 kHz (devided by 50 = 140)
or is 7,125 kHz better (devided by 50 = 142,5)
or should I take a harmonic
e.g. 6400 Hz = 50 * 2^7
Thank you!
Norbert
