  • Question for Carl

I just picked up an SST off of ebay. It is not as sensitive as my MXT Pro.

If I send/bring it to Sweet Home, could you guys make it as hot as my MXT?

I tested it with 3 coils on both machines, and the SST lacks around 2" in an air test.

PM me if you like, I do not want to cause a rush of Whites owners overwhelming the front office staff.

    Thanks

      Hi Beerguy

The compare chart at this site indicates that the MXT is more sensitive than the SST.

Beerguy, the SST is the same as the M6, which is identical in overall performance to the MXT. That is, the M6/SST was not dialed back in performance, so with the same coil should get the same depth as the MXT.

            SST sensitivity

            Carl,

I was expecting the same performance, but the SST is definitely not as sensitive. I have 3 coils to test, all the same.

I suppose I could send it in for a 'tune up'...
