DELTA PULSE has huge PULSE WIDTH (500us) that will give you 2-3m on cola can.
Coke can signal decay with different Tx times. Don't know why 500us and 1000us Tx aren't the same. Tx times greater than 5 times the target TC shouldn't increase the signal. Two times the signal doesn't increase detection depth very much.

that is physics. you can not stand up the depth in 2 times if you stand up the pulse power in 2 time. you must stand up the power EGHT times
to get only 2 times of depth. i am not competent in physics so read pls Eric postiing in his PI TECHNOLOGY FORUM (now tech forum). https://www.findmall.com/list.php?34
read from start of the forum.

Found why, Constant rate Tx not constant current Tx. Chart(TRT_54)with constant current Tx. Above(TRT_53) was constant rate Tx.

TX has to be 5 times greater than the higher of the target tau and the coil tau to see no more pulse width effect.

Thanks, that explains constant rate(infinite coil tau). I charted it because the coke can has a tau lot less than 500us. Wasn't thinking about coil tau. My error, been using constant current(.5A peak)and constant rate(1A peak)at lower peak currents. Wasn't thinking about needing long Tx time for higher Tx current. The 500us is needed to charge the coil to a high current with Delta Pulse? If I had kept rate at each step constant the Rx signal difference between Tx times would have been a lot greater, Rx signal >times 2 for each Tx time step.

5961 asked how can i increase depth of this machines?
i answered the way. really 500us is NOT being practic. present 5961 staying in this coil. he will boil like the water in hot kettle and his steel eggs will be light.

Over time, having read many posts here on forum, I have concluded that there are only a handful( probably less than ten) of people who really can be described as expert in pulse induction innovation for the future. I am not one of them.
Some people are relentless. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in the dictionary.

It was them I was talking about, not you.

Now where's my tin foil hat?

Reminds me of the guy on Better call Saul series, Saul 's brother, always wearing foil hat and blankets.

Tin foil is 'old hat' and will not afford a lot of protection as IACS is only 4.2%. You will definitely need heavy duty aluminium foil at least. Interestingly, cooking foil was originally tin, and I once found some inside a very old oven.
