CZ5 driver

hello, can anyone say
1/ what transistors are in the shematic. there are clearly seems IRFD120 IRFD9120, VN and VP ones are not for me.
2/ what are reference to it all?
3/ what TX frequency is of CZ5?
4/ what voltage amplitude is on TX coil?
5/ what form of impulse is also on the coil?

Hi KT315

1. Power MOS FET are IRFD120 and IRFD9120 in DIP4 case. Instead Vn and Vp, I was use BSS 92 and BSS 98, and it work.
2. ?
3. TX frequency is about 5 Khz.
4. Power is around ± 4.5 V. So, amplitude of AC TX is about 9V.
5. Almost pure square signal. Like from CMOS or TTL logic IC.

On the picture, you can see one of my first modifications of CZ, about 4 years before, and for learning purpose, of course.

4. the amplitude is small. for example, in schematics of Ciklon and Anker one is 60 V, because of serial tuned contour. probably the driver has a good potencial for advancing?

4. You are absolutely right, about that. All electronic of CZ5 is working with, about 25mA (without sound). Deep search machine, HA ?
But if you increase Tx, you will get lot of problems, to harmonize 5 and 15 Khz, and phases. Check – mate!
