Garrett BFO unit

Need Info on a Garrett BFO two coil unit. Its about 20++ years old and seems to work. This at one time was my fathers. I have the instruction book the unit is in very good shape. Can this detector be used with good sucess? I know there have been a lot of improvments in the last 20 years just wondering if it worth using.

GARRETT 2 COIL DETECTOR

The 12 and 5 combination is good for cache and bottle dump hunting! Larger coils are available for very large objects like iron safes, cars , boats, whiskey stills , etc. I would not use it for coin hunting!
