I am amazed at the news I have now received from a co-worker in China!
Due to the time difference of 6 hours, the ad was placed earlier and the entire quantity was immediately sold in a couple of hours!???
Incredibly!
I can not believe!
I didn't expect this even in my wildest dream!
The associate informed me that the next supply will be ready in 3 to 5 days!
Sorry for this confusion! I'm surprised to say the least!
Associate says 90% of inventory sold immediately in China to Chinese buyers!???
So we have nothing left but to wait 3 to 5 days!

I'm too confused right now to know the answer to that question.
An analog version without LCD and processor would be easy to clone.
However... with a low price on Aliexpress; who would even bother to clone that?
Good question and good thing for thought!
I will have to ask my Chinese colleague for his opinion, these are not things I can decide without his consent.

I would not have invested so much energy and expense if this device had not proven to be effective. Am I so idle that I engage in fairy tales?

Many years ago, Carl and I exchanged a couple of emails.
I had the idea to sell me this device from his fantastic collection.
But Carl suggested that he send it to me in a friendly manner, that I analyze it and return it to him later in the same condition.
Unfortunately, I had to refuse it, because sending on the route USA-Serbia and vice versa, with all postage and customs, is a total overkill in costs.
But I remained patient, persistent and waited for a chance.
Just last year I found a device like this in very bad condition on Ebay, at an unprecedentedly high price of around 670 euros!!!
Without postage and other costs. Not to mention the "fat" commission that Ebay takes!
And so the story of this began. Does this all look like some of my usual jokes and intentions to lie to you here and tell you fairy tales?
Those who are ready to criticize everything in advance and have never had contact with devices in their life... are only worthy of regret.
This device is not intended for such people.
In this whole story, money comes last.
If I was just chasing money... I would have barely 50 posts on the forum since 2006 when I registered on the forum and started posting.
What is symptomatic of the forum over the years is that the people who only care about money are mostly the same ones who have contributed nothing to the forum so far.
Such characters do not belong to my "target group" of people with whom I am ready to cooperate.
The idea of finally succeeding after a lot of pains, efforts and huge obstacles on Aliexpress is finally came true!
To make some devices as cheap as possible and as widely available to the world's population.
Finally, after many topics on the forum that lead nowhere... from now on you will all have the chance to buy many devices very cheaply... with which, until yesterday, many such "money lovers" were blackmailing you with unrealistically high prices .
That has come to an end!
This is just the tip of the iceberg. I intend to post everything that I think is interesting to our hobby population on Aliexpress over time, at the fairest possible prices!
My "socialism" and true altruism will finally have an effect.
But all this wouldn't have happened if I hadn't had the rare luck to finally, after 1000 failures, find a genius Chinese, who shares the same views on the world with me.
His abilities and merits are here to be emphasized. I couldn't do anything without him.

Although this is off topic, I will give you an obvious example of my intentions.
It is a fluxgate sensor FGM-3.
After the death of Bill Speake, the company Speake&Co disappeared.
And then, like mushrooms after the rain, some "wild" and rather dubious offers of these sensors appeared, on several sides.
I don't want to mention names here.
But I'll just emphasize (and this is important!) that through my "insiders" and intermediaries, I got a piece or two of the sensors that "the others" advertise very aggressively all around!
At prices that are, to put it mildly, unrealistic... and realistically speaking, "thieves".
I have a "military" supply of methylene chloride and it's very easy and simple for me to melt the epoxy, open up those sensors and clearly see what they've done inside.
Take my word for it (and you don't have to) that most of the claims made by these thieving "firms" on their websites are LIES!
I also have detailed pictures taken of such melted sensors. I haven't posted them yet and I don't intend to... unless one of them pisses me off!
The prices of such "sensors" range from 34 euros to even 120 euros!!!
Someone dreams of Hollywood dreams and wants to get rich overnight!
That's why I especially highlight and emphasize my offer of "ordinary" standard FGM-3 sensors that you can easily buy on Aliexpress, at the price of 2 sensors for less than the price of one from others!
But this is only the tip of the iceberg! I will soon be offering a special series of these sensors with off-the-shelf specs. And then there is something else, much better! It will be a hit! But I will write about it when the time comes. Patience gentlemen...!

Wow, I'm surprised you have a new board! I was assuming you may sell the original clones, that you posted in the first post of this thread:

I'm sure this would be all many people on here would want. It's true it could be re-copied / hacked etc, but as you say, if the price is OK on Ali, no-one will care to do this.

Yes, I have the original version, which I will not put into mass production, I have a couple of my reworked versions, and this one on Aliexpress is the original concept but modernized, reduced to a small pcb and with the use of small SMD components.
It may sound surprising, but Aliexpress has very strict criteria on these topics and it is very difficult to submit an original design without a license.
It is not easy or simple to place an ad. China is a country of great surprises for me. Nothing is as I thought before.

I would not do things that are still current and existing and against the interest of the original authors.
That's another story.
But this is a product of a company that has long since disappeared from the market.
And what's most unfortunate; it is very difficult, bordering on impossible; to find those devices.
That's this story.
I have 54GB of projects on my backup drives, believe it or not.
80% is something that would directly threaten the interests of the original authors and their copyrights.
These are things I will not put into mass production.
But luckily there are a lot of things that do not fall under this criterion and those things will see the light of day again, this time at very favorable prices, adapted to the hobbyist's wallet.

When Tesoro broke up; the first thing I had in mind was to contact the Gifford brothers and get the license through legal means!
Because I love the Tesoro style!
But I gave up because I didn't find the slightest interest in China for that type of detectors!??
Today it is impossible to get a Chinese person interested in an ordinary conventional VLF I/B!

As far as I have been able to understand, from countless contacts and correspondences; the vast majority of Chinese want a powerful PI that will be able to locate a small gold nugget very deep, while having a good GEB and DISC!
