X(x) years ago I proposed this as the next logical step in detector development.
Therefore, having in mind first of all XP and their model Deus, which was just released on the market at that time.
I thought at the time that it was logical that after Deus XP would make something like this.
But they decided to take a different path.
By trivially repeating the same story that many before them invented and elaborated well.
"Take as much money as possible" on the detector, various "almighty" coils... empty promises, etc.
And like any neo-globalist capitalist company; they reached their peak very quickly... ok they took a lot of money.
And what next?
We know what will happen next. Slight stagnation, reduction of capacity and slow but sure decline.
It is a common but inevitable path from a small workshop in a garage to a mega company that rules the market for a moment.
Later it is all blown up by locusts coming in clouds from the east in a storm.
And today it is no longer important to anyone. Some new people are doing some new things.
At that time, I wrote somewhere on the forum that it is very logical for me to move the detector to the mobile phone application.
Why? Well, because every person on the planet has a mobile phone.
If you offer that person only a "smart" coil, for a reasonable price, you have expanded your market to unimaginable proportions.
And in that way, you opened the door for detectors to go beyond the narrow and small group of hobbyists.
In some other industries, some much smarter people figured this out a long time ago.
What is the main thing that this last technological revolution brought us and left us as the main achievements?
First of all, broadband internet and... a mobile phone as something that literally every man, woman and child must have with them, constantly, every day.
And that is the starting point for everything else.
I'm glad to see that I was after all "clairvoyant" in a way and completely right.
I remember that some people laughed at me then.
Who's laughing today?
