Hello everyone,

I'm Kurt and living in West-Flanders , Belgium.

I will try tom make my own metal detector , a good one .

We living in a area with a lot of mineralls in the grond , and will use the detector also on the beach .

Who can give me some info , which type is good .

Hi Kurt,
best pulse induction to homebrew are:
Delta Pulse, XR-71 , Goldscan4

best VLF are:
Whites Classic SL III, Tesoro Bandido II uMax

You can find schematics here somewhere in schematic section.
Some have also pcb design ready.
If you want discrimination make a VLF. If you need a beach outstanding md
make a PI.

Hi Max

I believe that i will go for the PI Detector XR71

I can buy assembled and tested PCB for 100,-Euro except transport costs.

I need to make only the Coil's.

Later i will make also a VLF Dector but first of all we will used on the beach and the is PI better.
