    For very small gold parts and moderate depth and soil GMT is better.

    For heavy terrain and deeper allocated nugget TDI is better than both proposed.

      I asked for help because V3i is newest model , and I predict to have best performance , do you have tested V3i .....

      regards

        Newest or not, GMT is predicted for gold searching, V3 is for general purpose.

        V3 cannot reach performances of GMT in tinny gold nuggets at shallow depth on moderate terrain, but in some other criteria can be better not at least very impressive data display.

        But probably you are not interesting in very small gold parts, so TDI is better than both mentioned for valued nugget on heavy terrain.

          what about of using two frequencies ,and other features ,
          I only ask for help ,sorry if I waist your time

          If you have better solution please write more about that

          point is to buy detector which is able to do the job , not to buy ****ekor or similar junk

          regards to all

              Good decision. One of the best all purpose MD. But need to be equipped with newest 300mm coil (Whites or Excellerator).

                Problem is your statement of your hunting purpose:

                "forsearching coins, and all type of gold "

                You in fact expect from detector to be universal. So if you decided for DFX you are on proper way.

                But if you need detector primarily for natural gold searching (prospecting),
                ML GP2100 (and latest models from serie) and Whites TDI are best choices. At the same time TDI is more universal than highly specialized ML GP models and can be used as DFX replacement.

                    If your terrains are more heavy than moderate (regarding mineralisation) than TDI for sure. Buy as latest serie as you can, because of some factory improvement. TDI can be at the same time converted to very deep detector with your handmade bigger (e.g. 80x80cm) coil (which for DFX and others VLF cannot be made).

                    For mostly nonproblematic soil, DFX with 300 coil can fulfill all your needs.

                    GMT is predicted for gold prospecting and can be excellent for tinny gold nuggets searching at shallow depth and at not to much mineralised terrains.

                    Problem is that natural gold and haevy terrain belong together. So I vote for TDI and "dig on all signals" system.

                        Factory offered display as far I know not. Maybe in next model of TDI. But I hope not, displays are most perishable parts of detectors.

                        To distinguish between metals you can use on TDI conductivity switch. Please read more about it:

                          can I believe on this salesman , because it is oposite what I have rean on the forum

                          I need to know if there is much iron. If not tou must buy the TDI. This is the deepest seeking metal detector. If there is a lot of iron I advise you the DFX (with our special deep seeking programs) with the special 10 inch DD coil (Is also with the V3)
                          //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
                          You can buy second hand but.......if you have no good programms the detector will not work good. I suggest you buy a detector with good discrimination. You need this over there. If I were you I bought a new one with all warranty and good programms. I Our advice is the TDI, this one goes very, very deep. .
                          ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
                          know its a lot of money but for 950 (ex costs freight) you have a new one with no problems from an earlier owner.

                          You also can look for the Matrix M6 with special 10 inch coil (Costs you 720,00 euro) see picture. Goes as deep as the DFX but has les options and is easy to use for you. Very good detector!!! Most sold in Holland!! On the meter the same indication of metal as at the DFX and V3i (and XLT)

                          If you buy as extra a 12 inch (32 cm ) coil for even more depth I think you have the best deal
                          ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
                          I found this mail:

                          DFX and V3....motion detectors with full discrimination options. DFX is easy to use V3i is very difficult with many more options. TDI is a pulls induction. Goes twice as dxeep as other detectors however: NO discrimation . You dig many times also for iron.

                          Yes, a lot of graves with juwelery and weapons.

                          I always choose for NOKTA: easy, less expensive and as good as the exp 4000.
                          ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
                          We deliver NOKTA, its only mend for big treasure. For single coins its not OK. So only for graves and hoards you can buy: However , its expensive.
                          As I was in STIP (sorry for mistake) and searched there a lot I know the Matrix M6 special will do perfectly. (Buy also the big coil as an extra (costs ex VAT about 120 euro)

                            Generally speaking Whites DFX, MXT and M6 are basically machines with similar TX/RX platform (i.e. uses the same coils). But there are differences in signal control and data processing. M6 are the simplest and DFX equipped with excessive number of programing controls.

                            Basically in same search conditions, same tunning and with same coil, you can expect the same results from all three models. But there are special conditions which can manage at best only DFX, of course, if proper tunned (programed) which is not so easy for everyone.

                            I prefer 10" DD coil too for this line of Whites machines, cause of its lite weight and really excellent characteristic. You can chose between 10"DD Whites or 10" DD Excellerator (the latest about $100 cheaper by Kellyco) both are about the same regarding search characteristic. If you wish more deep and still retain sensitivity to coins you can chose 12" (mentioned 300mm) coil which go deeper but unfortunately you will sense its weight soon.

                            There is not known to me VLF/IB detector which can manage heavy soil (highly mineralized especially by different sort of iron ore) better than Whites TDI in field of gold searching. Your seller is likely to some confuse between TDI and DFX characteristic and searching goals. Of course DFX can be better all purpose detector if you have mastered it, but cannot compete with TDI in gold prospecting on heavy terrains.

                            I suppose that you speak with seller about gold prospecting, not about silver coin searching which can be someway different story.

                              SO what is best solution for that TDI or......... if /how to tune for mentioned searching ,what to expect .....

                              Do you know when will be new model of TDI ,because I can wait and buy newest one
