I suppose this raises the question as to how you define a coil's diameter. To be absolutely precise, the inner diameter of the coil bundle used for those measurements was 23cm (9.06"), and the outer diameter was 25cm (9.84"). As you can readily see, the coil bundle width was 1cm.
The previous stated values for the coil diameter(s) were rounded up / down to the nearest inch.
    Hope this makes it clearer.

    • We do not understand each other. About the inner and outer diameters I understand. Items shown in the photo and the range of their detection. This listing has been tested with which coil?

It's the one shown in Fig. 4-3 and Fig. 4-4, and was wound with 1.7mm bell wire.

              Or the finest aged resistors?

              • The ax is the most important thing in assembly. Well, I soldered the details to the board. The connectors and the Arduinos themselves have not yet arrived. All parts are checked for compliance with ratings. Estimated time was approximately 1.5 hours...

                      • What are the ideal coil specifications for this project.
And what is the ideal dimension 30 cm?

                              • telefonic 2x twisted pair twisted pair rolls between them, makes 3 full trips, then welds the start end to get a resistance of about 250 uH and 1.7 ohms.
the damping resistor in my case is 330 ohms.
elliptical coil size 30 cm x 21 cm
                                shielding with aluminum foil.
