I knew that and thats why i asked. I have heard many times that i can use the van damme cables for vlf with only one shield but i wasnt sure. Now i have ordered one, it's too late. I think it will work.

isn't foil shielding normally for ridged installations and breaks down when flexed ?

Probably works just fine. But not what I would use after spend the time building the coil.

              Genuine Tesoro Cortés cable.

appears to be a fairly cheap and built to a price cable.

I have bought a Van Damme Pro Grade Classic Instrument Cable , do you think this is good for Barracuda PI?

It looks like the inner wire is very small.
Has anybody tried this for PI Detectors?

Never tried on a PI most people use a low loss TV cable. It's quite a slow PI I would think it would be fine. I have a board, cable and coil lying around here somewhere I can test if you like. Even TV cable isn't ideal as it's easy to damage the outer casing on sharp rocks.

Yes I have some Van Damme and low loss coaxial cable I can try and see if there is any difference. I very much doubt there will be.

Been caught out with cheap Chinese cable.

Seemed fine on the bench. Every time it got knocked I a beep. Just tapping the cable was enough.

KT315, your choice of words leaves much to be desired, easily interpreted as insulting, which I know is not your intention. Instead of "idiotic", might I suggest a more a appropriate word such as "duped", example:"do not be so easily duped by cheap chines cable, better advised to get EFPA catalogue as good reference"
